Judy Reeves Cleveland, a beloved wife and matriarch, passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on February 24, 1952, in the picturesque Pickens County to the late B.C. Reeves and the late Lillie Mae Ellenburg Reeves, Judy's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, dedication, and countless cherished moments.
As a steadfast partner in life and in business, Judy expertly managed the business side of the mobile home rental company she shared with her husband, Larry. Her keen sense of organization and unwavering commitment to excellence brought prosperity and joy to many, earning her respect in her field and admiration from those around her.
Judy was a lady of class and grace, always taking time for herself to indulge in a pristine manicure, reflecting her appreciation for aesthetics in every aspect of life. Her love for flowers was evident not only in her beautiful garden that brightened her home but also in the way she nurtured every relationship with a gentle touch. She delighted in collecting knick-knack ceramics, each cherished piece telling its own story, much like her rich life filled with warm memories.
She was profoundly proud of her role as a grandmother, who brought her immeasurable joy and laughter from her grandchildren who lovingly called her, "Nanny". The love she poured into delicious home-cooked meals became a cherished tradition, where family gathered to share food and stories that would become treasured memories.
In addition to her husband of 50 years, she is survived by two sons, William "Ray" Cleveland and Anthony Cleveland; four grandchildren; Alexis Cleveland who shared a bond as strong as a daughter, and Ashley, Madison, and Justin Cleveland; sisters, Pat O' Bryant and Marilyn Andrew and a brother, Lee Reeves.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. The graveside will follow on the property in the Veterans Section of Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Flowers will be accepted and appreciated with knowing Judy's love of flowers.
Judy leaves behind a legacy of kindness, elegance, and love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving a void that can never be filled. As we remember her today, let us carry forward her spirit, cherishing the lessons she taught us about family, faith, and the beauty of life's simple pleasures.
