Judy Ann Herrin, 78, wife of Ronald Herrin passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Wednesday, August 26, 2020. She was born August 24, 1942 in Albemarle, NC the daughter of William R. Kendall, Jr. and Ruby Coggins Kendall. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pendleton.
Judy grew up in New London and went on to earn her LPN. She worked in various healthcare offices, but mostly in the office of Dr. James Hellams in Pendleton and the Redfern Health Center at Clemson University. Judy enjoyed sewing, walking, and any type of exercise. She loved music and especially enjoyed singing in the choir. But it was her grandchildren that brought her the greatest joy.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Ron of Pendleton; son, Tim and his wife Dana of Liberty; a daughter, Teresa Mims and her husband Marcus of Davidson, NC; a brother, Terroll Kendall and his wife Linda of Albamarle, NC; and five grandchildren, Timothy "TJ" Herrin of Lake Jackson, TX, Abby Herrin of Liberty, Cody Mims and Kendall Mims, both of Davidson, NC. IN addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Mims.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 29 at the Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. 108 Cross Creek Rd., Central. Scroll to the video player below to view the service.
