Mrs. Judith Carol "Judy" Hornkohl, 71, of Easley, loving wife of the late Tod Keith Hornkohl, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at her residence.
Judy was born in Marysville, Kansas on August 21, 1944 to the late George and Maxine Barnes Hatke. Judy’s beautiful heart and soul brightened everyone’s day. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, as well as, spending time with her friends at Countryside. Judy was known for her listening ear and offers of advice to those who needed it.
Judy is survived by one daughter; Shari Livingston of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin and four sons, Graig Hornkohl (Joanne), of Easley; Steven Hornkohl of Westland, Michigan; David Weickert of Lincoln, Nebraska; and Brian Hornkohl of Wakefield, Kansas; a brother; Randy Hatke of Hanover, Kansas; and two sisters; Maryann Surratt of New York, New York; and Dottie Rettig of Clay Center, Kansas. Judy is also survived by nine grandchildren; Jessica Livingston Ellwood (Chris), Cathy Livingston, Brittany Parmer, Amanda Hornkohl, Meghan Hornkohl, Xavier Hornkohl, Dalton Weickert, Gabriel and Levi Hornkohl and two great-grandchildren; Rae Lynn Straveler and Sheldin Ellwood.
Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
