Mrs. Judy Memmert Miller, 92, of 133 Henderson Road and widow of Charles J. Miller, passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 12, 2006.

Born in Bavaria, Germany, Dec. 10, 1914, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She came to America at the age of 10 with her parents. She received her formal education in the schools of New York City. In 1933, she married Charles J. Miller and was his devoted wife for 54 years. She cared for all nature and especially enjoyed her pets, Sweetie and Lucky. She owned and operated Balhi Bird Farm on Henderson Road and had over 100 exotic birds.

She loved her Lord above all and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church where she served faithfully until her death. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Serving as Honorary Escort will be the T.M. Johnson and T.B. Nalley Sunday School Class.

Services will be on Friday, December 15, 2006 at 11 AM at Fairview United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Durham and Pastor Fred Rimer officiating.

Body will be placed in the church at 10 AM, Friday prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church, 200 East Church Road, Easley, SC 29642 or to the charity of one's choice.
