Julia Elizabeth Wardlaw Haney, 81, of Pendleton and wife of Ernest L. Haney, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at AnMed Health.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late William Howard and Annie Elizabeth Stiwinter Wardlaw. She was a former lab technician in the soil testing lab at Clemson University. She was a member of East Clemson Christian Fellowship.
Surviving in addtion to her husband are one son, Roger Leonard Haney (Geneva) of Anderson; daughter, Rachel Haney de Give (James L.) of Pendleton; brother, Guyton Wardlaw of Anderson; sister, Joyce Alewine of Anderson; grandchildren, Shane Haney, Shawn Haney, Angela Rachel Wilson (Brian), and Crystal Harris (Kevin); and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Bradford Wardlaw.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Sunday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:50 PM, Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
