Julia Raquel Orchard, 81, of 125 Walden Lane, widow of Carlos A. Orchard, died Sunday October 7, 2007 at her home.
Mrs. Orchard was born in LaSerena, Chile, a daughter of the late Guillermo Zepeda and Raquel Martin. She most recently made her home with her son. She was a homemaker and a Catholic.
Surviving are four sons, Carlos G. Orchard, of Miami Springs, Florida, Phillip S. Orchard, of Coral Gables, Florida, U.S. Navy Lt. Commander (Ret) Michael D. Orchard, of Pemboke Pines, Florida and Ronald E. Orchard, of Easley, SC ; a brother, William Zepeda, of Santiago, Chile ; a sister, Adrianna Zepeda, of Santiago, Chile, 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
The Rite of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Wednesday in the Chapel at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with Father Thomas Miles officiating, Burial will be in San Diego, California at a later date.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Catholic Church of Saint Luke, 4408 Highway 86, Easley, SC 29642.
