Julius Franklin Kelley, 82, husband of the late Cummie Hendricks Kelley and Jeanette Alexander Kelley, formerly of Liberty, died Monday January 1, 2007 at Palmetto Health Baptist-Easley.

A lifelong resident of Pickens County, he was a son of the late George Hampton and Cleo Harper Kelley. Mr. Kelley retired from the Pickens Cotton Mill and was a member of Rice's Creek Church of God of Prophecy.

He is survived by his son, Dennis Julius Kelley, of Easley ; step-sons, Carlos Alexander and Edward Alexander, both of Easley, Calvin Alexander and Michael Alexander, both of Liberty ; step-daughters, Mildred Powell, Elizabeth Nix and Gail Bennett, all of Easley and Evelyn Bowie, of Pickens ; a brother, Edward George Kelley, of Liberty ; 3 grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren and 26 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with burial in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
