June Elizabeth Davis

June Elizabeth Davis, 93, widow of Vernon Davis, died peacefully at her home Friday, September 7, 2018. She was born in New York City June 7, 1925 the daughter of William S. and Sarah Agnew Griffiths.

After her marriage to Vernon, June became a model and a secretary. After that she enjoyed raising her family. She was an avid tennis player and has the trophies to prove it. She also loved caring for animals.

In addition to her parents, June was predeceased by her husband in 2003, a daughter Diane Holmes, in 2016, and her sister, Audrey Schieferly. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Hudak and husband Richard; grandchildren, Tara Warren and husband Bryce, Torrey Anderson and wife Holly, TJ Anderson and wife Katie, Jason Hudak and wife Stella, Jesse Hudak and wife Jacqueline, Joshua Hudak, and Jenna Hudak; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central. Interment will follow at the Old Stone Church Cemetery in Clemson.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM, prior to the service.
