June Foster Oliver, 78, of 157 Summit Drive, wife of the late William R. "Bill" Oliver, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Mountain Home Health and Rehab Center in Hendersonville, N.C.
Born in Spartanburg, Mrs. Oliver was a daughter of the late Edgar Wadsworth and Beatrice Powell Foster. She graduated from Spartanburg High School and retired from Palmetto Health Baptist Easley, having worked from 1969 to 1995. Prior to that, Mrs. Oliver worked with WELP. She was a member of Easley Presbyterian Church and a volunteer at United Christian Ministries.
Surviving are two sons, Tony F. Oliver and Gregg F. Oliver, both of Easley; three sisters, Tillie Allred, Ann Moss, and Peggy Long, all of Spartanburg; three grandchildren, William Russell Oliver, II, Heather Diana Oliver and Sarah Ashley Oliver; two great-grandsons, Tyler Brock Oliver and Anthony Frederick Oliver II; and a special friend and neighbor, June Jones.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
