June B. Woodard
June Binkley Woodard, 93, resident of Keowee Place in Seneca, SC, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
June was born on August 29, 1929 in Littlefield, Texas, the daughter of the late Marshall Butler and Maud Edith Nicholson Binkley. She was brought into Jesus’s family as a little girl and our Savior loved her all her life. Descended from a long legacy of faith, she sang in numerous choirs and worshipped as a member of Clemson Presbyterian Church. In a family of seven siblings she moved often and told her sons that she attended seventeen schools before graduating from Hobbs High School in New Mexico in 1946. She lived in Hobbs, New Mexico from 1948-2000.
The mother of six boys, she is survived by three of them: J. David Woodard of Clemson, Jeffrey Neil Woodard of Keowee Key, and Toby Woodard of Travelers Rest, SC. She is the grandmother of: Caleb, Jesse, Christina, Stacey, Zachary, Megan, Ian, Amy, Shawn, George, Allison, Rebekah, Abigail, Christian and Mia, as well as 11 great-grandchildren with more on the way.
She was preceded in death by sons: Dane Larue Woodard, Terry Dale Woodard and W. Rex Woodard.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2023 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC 29630. The service will be live streamed at <https://robinsonfuneralhomes.com/duckettrobinson-chapel-live/>.
