Mr. Junior C. "J.C." Galloway, 86, husband of Etrulia Sutherland Dickard Galloway and the late Viola Holder Galloway, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Richard Campbell Nursing Home.
Born in Pickens County, SC, he was a son of the late Ernest "Doc" and Eva Fortner Galloway. Mr. Galloway was a contruction worker and a U.S. Navy Veteran of W.W. II. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of United Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald Galloway (Kathy) and Kenneth Galloway (Shirley), all of Easley; one daughter, Linda Mathis (Benny) of Easley; a step-daughter, Debbie Duncan (Hal), of Easley; a brother, William "Bill" Galloway, of Piedmont; a sister, Lois Guckert, of Syracuse, NY;
7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverend Donnie Massingill and the Reverend Lawrence Keever officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Monday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at their respective homes.
