Junior Sisk

Enary "Junior" Sisk, 77, of 105 Summer Street, died Monday, May 11, 2009, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Danville, VA, a son of the late Enary Sisk, Sr., and the late Viola Funk Sisk, Mr. Sisk retired from Saco Lowell Corporation and was a member of Park Street Baptist Church where he belonged to the Paul Parsons Sunday School Class. He used his God given talent for music as the pianist for Rock Springs Baptist Church, Jones Avenue Baptist Church and finally Park Street Baptist Church totaling over fifty years of service to the Lord. Mr. Sisk was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served with the US Army.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Jo Stegall Sisk of the home; a son William Carey Sisk of Easley, and his fiance', Lori Walker of Greenville; two daughters, Ann Duncan and husband, Stanley, of Easley, and Shannon Ross and husband, Marty, of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Charles Sisk and wife, Mary, of Columbia, and Rev. John Sisk and wife, Anne, of Easley; two sisters, Elizabeth Tompkins of Easley, and Ollie Baxter and husband, Ben, of Tulsa, OK; and a grandson, Matthew Ross of Atlanta, GA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sisk was predeceased by two sisters, Ginny Phillips and Louise Knecht, and by a grandson, Michael Duncan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Park Street Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Alton Nix and Rev. Dr. Roger Couch officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Thursday.
