Junior "JB" Wilson, 65, of John Deere Lane, husband of Kathy Cooper Wilson, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at McCall Hospice House.
Born January 27, 1949 in Greenville County, he was raised by his aunt, Ruth Reynolds and late grandmothers, Betty Reynolds and Lindy Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a truck driver who served over thirty-nine years. He was a loving father and provider who loved life. His grandchildren, fishing and music gave him joy. Mr. Wilson was a member of Cedar Hill Holiness Church.
In addition to his wife of thirty-nine years and his aunt, he is survived by his children, Julie Wilson Arnold (Michael), "baby girl" Thelma Wilson Aiken (Chris), Angie Moore, Pam Wilson and Keith Wilson; brother, Haskell Wilson; sisters, Barbara Sanders and Patricia Turner; "brothers by choice," Sap Snellgrove and Lamar Clayton; grandchildren, Kelcie Aiken, Blake Aiken, Landon Junior Cooper Arnold and nine additional grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and loving sisters and brothers-in-law.
In addition to his grandmothers, he was predeceased by his sister, Sarah Turner, mother and father-in-law, Thelma and Robert Cooper and "brother by choice" Richard Brown.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, October 10, 2014 at Cedar Hill Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
The family is at 105 South Second St., Easley, SC 29640.
