Kade Oneal Stokes, 42, of 103 Melissa Court, passed away Saturday October 23, 2010 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Mr. Stokes was born in Dothan, Alabama, a very proud son of Tom and Judy Bailey and the late Roger B. Stokes. He graduated from Greenville Technical College with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and was General Manager and Vice President of Mr. Mattress Incorporated. Kade was a member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) for twelve years. He was a charter member of Marathon Community Church where he served with the Compassion Team.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Laura Pestka Stokes, of the home; two sons, Jacob Thomas Stokes and Joshua Abraham Stokes, both of the home; two brothers, Isaac Stokes and Tommy Bailey Jr.(Danielle), both of Williamston; two sisters, Andrea Turner (Robert) and Lori Bailey, both of Greenville; his maternal grandparents, Floyd and Annie Blackman, of Dothan, Alabama and 7 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Abe Webb and paternal grandparents, W.B. and Ellie Stokes.

A Memorial Service will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Marathon Community Church with the Reverend Eddie Cox, the Reverend Roy McCall and Mr. Tom Bailey, Sr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Wednesday, prior to the service, at the church.

The family is at the home.

His son, Jacob Stokes is working to become an Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts Troop 95. The family requests that memorials be made to Troop 95, c/o Mike Boom, 1212 Windermere Court, Easley, SC 29642.
