Karen Simmons White, 49, died Friday, October 3, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Anderson she is the daughter of the late W.C. and Mary Swaney Mize.
She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Crain of Pendleton and Hope Lesley of Denver, N.C. and 2 grandchildren, Jakob and Logan Crain; father Jimmy Ledford of Franklin, NC; step-son, Billy White of Traveler's Rest; brothers, Larry C. Bright of LaFrance, Matthew Hurst of Ashville, NC and Tracey Ledford of Westminster; sister, Marsha Nation of Cullowhee, NC.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3pm at Fant's Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8pm at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. The family is 716 Five Forks Road, Anderson, SC.
