Mrs. Karleen Burroughs Galloway, 89, wife of the late Edward Bryan Galloway, went to be with her Lord and Savior, December 23, 2017.
Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late George Bland and Pauline Smith Burroughs, Mrs. Galloway retired from the Willows of Easley with fourteen years of dedicated service and was a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are a grandson, Blake Galloway (Brandy), and granddaughter Shauna Galloway-Williams (Dupre); a daughter-in-law, Maye Galloway; a sister-in-law, Gladys Burroughs; and three great-grandchildren, Esdras Williams, Phoebe Williams and Landon Galloway. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Galloway was predeceased by a son, Samuel Bryan Galloway; a daughter, Melody Joy Galloway; a brother, George L. Burroughs; and three sisters, Virginia Player, Betty Suttles and Faye James.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Geer Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Phil McAlister officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Saturday at the church, prior to the service.
