Mrs. Kathleen Huck Bossert, 86, wife of the late Robert Miller Bossert, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Foothills Retirement Community.

Born September 24, 1929 in Marietta, OH, a daughter of the late Joseph Huck and the late  Margaret Neader Huck-Hanes, Mrs. Bossert attended St. Mary's High School in Marietta, OH where she graduated at the top of her class in 1947. She worked as a nursery school teacher at Pioneer Nusery School, and later she worked for the Board of Elections in Washington County, OH where she became director. Mrs. Bossert was a member of Easley Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a son, David J. Bossert (Katherine) of Easley; a daughter, Janet Bond of Tulsa, OK; three sisters, Margret, Madeline and Carol; two grandchildren, Kelly Bossert and Dr. Jeremy Parker (Rebecca); and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bossert was predeceased by a son, Robert N. Bossert; a brother, Jerold; and a sister, Teresa.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Mounds Cemetery, Marietta, OH.
