Kathleen Holliday Carman, 84, of Easley, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, NC.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late John and Vaudie Dillard Holliday. Mrs. Carman retired from Celanese and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Carol Hunt; three brothers, T.H., Jim, and Glenn Holliday; a sister Martha Jaquith; two grandchildren Rene (Greg) Brewer and Robbie (Kim) Hunt, and four great-grandchildren Greg Jr. and Johnny Brewer, Justin and Brooke Hunt.
In addition to her first husband, James Wilbur Smith and parents,rs. Carman was predeceased by four brothers, J.D., Lawrence (Whitey), Coy, and Clifton Holliday; a great-granddaughter Ashley Brewer Lehman and a great- great- granddaughter Ada Lanae Lehman.
Funeral services will be 3:00PM Sunday August, 22 2010 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:30 until 3:00 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
