Kathleen Moore McClain, 86, of 434 Childress Road, wife of the late James Ansel McClain, died Monday, June 26, 2006, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Anderson County, SC, a daughter of the late Troy Michigan and Irene Cole Moore, Mrs. McClain was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two sons, Troy McClain of Easley, and Buddy McClain of Dacusville; a daughter, Mae Jackson of Townville; 2 brothers and 2 sisters all of Anderson; 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McClain was predeceased by a son, Harry McClain and by two daughters, Peggy Thomas and Annie Nelms.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Bobby Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM, Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at her home.
