Mrs. Kathy Elaine Garren Ely, 51, wife of Thomas E. Ely of 63 Ray Road, died Monday, February 6, 2006 at her residence.
Mrs. Ely was born in Easley, was a daughter of Jack Garren of Easley and the late Katherine Berryhill Hendricks. She was an employee with Hope Lumber Company of Spartanburg. She was a 1972 graduate of Easley High School and was a member of First Pentacostal Holiness Church of Easley.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home is a son, Eric Ely and his wife Rebecca of Marietta, SC; a brother, Mike Garren of Easley; sisters, Rae Duncan of Easley and Jackie Gilreath of Liberty and grandchildren, Austin Ely and Erin Ely. She was also predeceased by a sister, Suzanne Garren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family will be at their respective homes.
