Kathy Barton Wright Gantt

Mrs. Kathy Barton Wright Gantt, 65, wife of the late Donald Ray Gantt, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Born in Liverpool, OH, a daughter of the late Daniel Paul Barton and the late Shirley Ballew Barton, Mrs. Gantt was retired from retail sales.

Kathy's love of cooking, taking care of her family, and her only grandchild were the loves of her life. Regardless of what life threw her way, you would be met with a grin on her face to brighten your day. She will be deeply missed by all that loved and knew her.

Surviving are her son, Christopher Wright of Easley; her daughter, Brandy Nicole Wright of Easley; her granddaughter, Leilah Rae Wright.; a brother, Jerry Barton of Simpsonville; and her sisters, Terry Smith and Virginia Spurlock, both of Greenville. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gantt was predeceased by a daughter, Angel LaDonna Gantt; and a brother, Timothy Barton.

The family will host a private memorial service at a later date.
