Kathy Lou Kegley

Kathy Lou Kegley, 69, wife of Paul Kegley, Sr., passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert Thomason and Irene Hunt Kathy was a graduate of Titusville High School in Florida and worked for many years as a replacement clerk with Haynes Brand Uniforms.

A member of the Baptist faith, Kathy was known for her loyalty, her caring heart, and ability to laugh even through life’s toughest moments. She was lively, athletic, and gentle, with a natural warmth that drew people to her.

Kathy enjoyed gardening and loved softball. Her husband, Paul, coached her softball team for ten years and was proud to have only lost one game.

She and Paul met 44 years ago and were happily married for 41 years. Together, they built a life full of love, family, and cherished memories.

In addition to her husband, Paul, she is survived by her brother, Joseph Thomason; a sister, Carol Thomason; four sons, Paul Kegley Jr. (Angel), William Kegley, and Richard Adkinson and Adam Kegley; a daughter Kellye Matthews; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday September 11, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
