Katie Faye Rhodes, 64, of 111 Morris Street died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pickens County she is a daughter of Pearline Smith Rhodes and the late William Grady Rhodes. Katie was a graduate of Daniel High School and Forrest Business College. She was an employee of Clemson University and was a long time member of East Clemson Baptist Church where she served as the organist, a teacher for the Nursery Sunday School Class and the church clerk.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Travis (Jennifer) Brank and grandson, Connor Brank of Greer, SC; a beloved Aunt, Kathryn S. Galloway of Central; cousins, Kathy and Blake Elliott, Michael, Angie, Tori and Madi Galloway; sister, Runette Putnam; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday, March 8, 2012 at East Clemson Baptist Church with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
The family is at the home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to East Clemson Baptist Church, 130 Frontage Road, Clemson, SC 29631.
