Katie Elizabeth Sharp, 84, formerly of 1204 Allgood Bridge Road , and wife of the late J.B. Bryant, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, SC.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Gus and Eva Bailey Gantt, Mrs Sharp retired from Alice Manufacturing and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two sons, J.B. Bryant (Geraldine) of Pickens, Roy Lee Bryant of Easley; one daughter, Bertha Ann Appling of Knoxville, TN; one brother, John Gantt of Easley; and nine grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Freeman and Earnest Gant; and one daughter, Gladys Schmitz.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, July 31, 2010 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Reverend Tim Jones and Michelle Bryant officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family is at the residence.
