Roger Keith Chapman, 55, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at AnMed.
Mr. Chapman was born in Anderson County, a son of Jolly Ledford Chapman, Jr. and Sue Belle McCrory Chapman of Central. He was a graduate of Clemson University and worked as a landscape supervisor for his alma mater.
Mr. Chapman served as a fire fighter for Central, Clemson, Mauldin and Easley Fire Departments, and was a member of Alive Wesleyan Church. He was devoted to his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Ruth Ann Lyle Chapman; son, Elijah (Amanda) Chapman of Clemson; two daughters Hannah and Leah Chapman; two brothers, Mark (Gina)and Gregg (Lynne) Chapman all of Central; one granddaughter, Sadie Chapman; eight nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson.
The family will receive friends on Monday, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alive Wesleyan Church, 96,000 Reasons, 136 Chastain Rd., Central, SC 29630.
