Keith Smith, 80, of Tripp Road, passed away Tuesday April 4, 2017.

Born on April 4, 1937 in Anderson County, SC, he was the son of the late Mattie Mae Smith.

Mr. Smith was retired from Bonitz Construction in Greenville. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and enjoyed fishing, gardening and growing flowers. He was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church and was a US Army Reserve Veteran.

Surviving are his wife of the home, Doris Allen Smith; a son, Ricky Smith (Lisa) of Piedmont; a daughter, Karen Nichols (Gene) of Piedmont; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 4:45 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Mission Fund of Mt. Airy Baptist Church, 210 Mt. Airy Church Road, Easley, SC 29642.

The family will be at the home.
