Kelli Sanborn Dulin, 72, was born on September 11, 1951, and passed away on January 5, 2024. Daughter of the late Bruce Morrison Sanborn Sr. and Betty Griffin Sanborn, Mrs. Dulin graduated from Wade Hampton High School in Greenville, SC, and earned a B.A. from Clemson University and a Master of Education from Furman University.
A tireless and enthusiastic advocate for public education, she dedicated her life to serving children and communities in the Greenville and Pickens County school systems. Upon retirement, she served families in Pickens County on the Foster Care Review Board.
She loved her family and her dogs unconditionally, and thrived as “Mia” to her grandchildren. She bestowed upon her children her curious spirit, generosity toward others, and a love of music and animals. She cherished her husband and lifelong partner, for whom no project was too great, and she delighted in the company of her “Lemon Drop Friends.” Her vigor for life was bountiful and will be missed by all. No one who ever had the good fortune to hear her warm laughter will ever forget it.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Paul Richard Dulin; two children, Rebecca Dulin of Charlotte, NC, and Casey Woodson (Josh) of Charlottesville, VA; two grandsons, Grant and Hayes; and nine nieces and nephews.
