Kenneth Bearden, 77, of Robert P. Jeanes Road, passed away Thursday January 28, 2016 at his home.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late The Reverend J.T. Bearden and Leola Scruggs Bearden.
Mr. Bearden was the owner of Kens Appliances. He was a member of Glassy Mountain View Baptist Church and was attending Amazing Grace Fellowship in Pickens. He also loved repairing clocks and watches.
Surviving are his wife of the home, Shirley Stewart Bearden; his children, Darryl Bearden of Pickens, Billy Hayes of Six Mile, Terri Haley of China, Tina LeCroy of Easley and Jennifer Owens of Central; sixteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Sue Sargent of Easley and Shelby Jean Hayes of Greenville; and a brother, Reverend Roland Bearden of Easley.
Funeral services will be held on Monday February 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
The family will be at the home.
