Kenneth Harold Dacus, 83, of 461 Hester Store Road, husband of Willa Faye Looper Dacus, passed away Tuesday September 18, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Dacus was born in Pickens County, SC, a son of the late Prue Milton Dacus, Sr. and Vera Elaine Friddle Dacus. He was the owner of Rolling Green Golf Club, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Nine Forks Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Allen H. Dacus (Sandy) and Gary Dacus (Gay), all of Easley; a daughter, Marlane Castellanos (Bob), of Tallahassee, Florida; two brothers, Howard Dacus, of Asheville and Prue Dacus, Jr., of Pickens; four sisters, Olivia D. Batson, of Columbia, SC, Linda D. Jones, of Powdersville, Marcelle Sandzan, of Vero Beach, Florida and Sheryl Dean Miller, of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren, Kelly Folmar, Keven Castellanos and Tyler Dacus and one great-grandchild, Madison Faye Folmar.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Rick Fisher and the Reverend Marshall Sergeant officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Past and present members of Rolling Green Golf Club are invited to serve as Honorary Pallbearers for the funeral service.

The family is at the residence.

Rolling Green Golf Club will be closed Thursday September 20, 2012 for the funeral service.
