Kenneth Allen Dalton, 52, husband of Beverly Wilson Dalton passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital, in Greenville, SC.
Ken was born in Seneca, SC, the son of Al Dalton of Six Mile and Kathy Burgess Lee of Clemson. He was a 1987 graduate of Seneca High School and retired from Shaw Industries where he was a Waste Treatment Operator. Over the past eighteen months he served in his most rewarding role, playing and
caring for the light of his life, his precious granddaughter, McKenzie. He loved spending time with his family, including his many nieces and nephews. He adored his wife who was also his best friend. Together they shared many adventures filled with wonderful memories that will surely last a lifetime. In addition, Ken was an avid Clemson Tiger football fan. He was a member of New Spring Church of Anderson where he loved volunteering as a small group leader in the Shock Wave program.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years; his son, Alex (Laura) Dalton of Dacusville, SC; daughter, Madison Dalton (Grant Smith) of the home; sister, Kari (Jimmy) Ledbetter; step-brothers, Travis (Raynell) Yates of Williamston, SC and Drue (Kim) Yates of Seneca, SC; granddaughter, McKenzie Dalton; step mother,
Donna Morgan Dalton of Six Mile; and step father, Ted Yaksich of Clemson.
Ken was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Opal and Joe Dalton; maternal grandparents, Joyce and Louise Burgess; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Pat Wilson; and paternal step-grandparents, Sam and Barbara Morgan.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens, SC.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Monday, May 10, 2021 at the funeral home.
