Kenneth Wayne Duncan, 77, of Easley, passed away, Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Magnolia Manor of Greenville.

Born July 15, 1933 in Newberry, County, he was a son of the late Archie and Vera Corder Duncan. Mr. Duncan was a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and was a Deacon. He was a graduate of Batesburg-Leesville High School, and the Palmetto Military Academy. He was honorably discharged as a First Lt. in the 12th US Army Reserve Corp. In 1957 he founded the Palmetto Exterminating Company. Mr. Duncan was a devoted Christian and loved The Lord and his family with all his heart.

Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife of 58 years, Katie Evans Duncan, of Easley; sons, Kenneth Duncan, Jr., and wife, Darlene of Easley, Keith Duncan, and wife, Linda of Easley, and Kirby Duncan of Pickens; brothers, Bobby Duncan, and Karl Duncan; sister, Loretta Wilson; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Edith Duncan, and Margaret Metts.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Geer Memorial Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

The family will be at 301 Highland Rd. Easley, SC 29640

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolence Fund at Geer Memorial Baptist Church, 911 South 5th St., Easley, SC 29640.
