Skipper Lawson

Kenneth Robert "Skipper" Lawson, II, 29, of 329 Amsterdam Road and currently stationed at Fort Polk in Lousiana, passed away Sunday January 30, 2011.
Skipper was born in Greenville, SC, a son of Kenneth Robert Lawson, Sr. and Linda Wilson Lawson, of Liberty. He was serving as an Information Technician in the U.S. Army at Fort Polk, Louisiana after returning from a tour of duty in Iraq. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Mary Grace Andrews-Lawson, currently serving in the U.S. Army in Qatar; his birth mother, Londa Gale Adkins Pace and her husband, of Pickens; three sisters, Tammy Deas, of Duncan, SC, Melissa Poulnott, of Greer, SC and Michelle Swink, of Taylors, SC.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Brandi Riggins.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, with the Reverend Paul Turner officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family is at the residence of his parents, 329 Amsterdam Road, Liberty, SC.
