Kenneth "Ken" Lee Beasley

February 25, 1942 — April 25, 2026

Easley, South Carolina

Kenneth Lee Beasley, 84, of Easley, South Carolina, husband of the late Martha Bishop Beasley, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, surrounded by his family at Prisma Health - Baptist Easley Hospital.

Born on February 25, 1942, in Piedmont, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Edgar and Gladys Liner Beasley. He was a devoted and loving father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose kindness and thoughtfulness touched all who knew him. Ken spent much of his working life at Michelin American Research Corporation as a lab technician. His dedication to his work was so valued that even after retiring, he was asked back not just once, but twice. This speaks to the respect and trust he earned from his colleagues over the years.

Art was a special part of Ken’s life. He expressed himself through sketching, painting hand crafted Santa figurines, and decorating gourds. These creative outlets were a quiet reflection of his gentle spirit and the care he showed to those around him. After the passing of his beloved wife, Martha, Ken found comfort in the loyal companionship of his rescue poodle, Bear, who stayed faithfully by his side. Their bond was a testament to his loving nature, always putting others first—even his furry friend.

Ken is survived by three daughters, Allison Beasley Gantt (Eric), of Liberty, South Carolina, Monica Lea Blanton, of Easley, South Carolina, and Erica Rae Land (Steven), of Liberty, South Carolina; three siblings, Joan Caldwell, Marie Arrington, and Steve Beasley (Janice); six grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Poppie”, Aimee Spence (Josh), Lindsey Cox (Taylor), Cameron Beasley (Courtney), Hunter Beasley, Luke Land, and Gavin Land; a daughter-in-law, Kim Beasley; five great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson.

In addition to his wife and parents, Ken is preceded in death by a son, Scott Beasley; as well as two brothers, Gene Beasley and Bobby Beasley.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
