Kenneth D. "Bean" Manley, 62, of 900 Central Road, died Sunday, October 4, 2009.

Born in Oconee County, a son of the late Solomon J. and Elma Stewart Manley, he was a long time employee with Blossman Gas Company and a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife, Faye Durham Manley of the home; two sons, Ken Manley, Jr. and wife Patty of Fair Play, SC, and D.J. Manley of the home; one daughter, Kim Manley of Pendleton; three brothers, Robert Manley of Pendleton, Alton Manley of Plum Branch, SC and Johnny Manley of Anahiem, CA; three grandchildren, Adam Manley, Brook Hancox and Candace Manley; and one great-grandson, Carter Lee Manley.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Reba Weatherly.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wednesday at East Clemson Christian Fellowship with Revs. Fred Fisher and Terry Carver officiating.

Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons.

The family is at the home of Ruby Littleton, 607 Porter Road, Pendleton, SC 29670.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Anderson, SC.
