Kenneth James Martin

Born in Meadville, PA on September 7th, 1943 to James and Anna Martin.

Passed away from this life into the loving arms of Jesus Christ his Savior on September 28, 2017 after a short battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 30 years, Lynn Loretta Martin, his sister Judy Richards, his father James Martin. Ken is also survived by six of his seven children - Kenneth Scott Martin (Kathy), Kimberly Martin Browder (Jay), Joshua Alan Martin (Sara) , Stacey Lynn Martin (Jason), Tyler James Martin (Meghan), and McKenzie Martin Cox (Phillip). Ken was preceded in death by his mother Anna Margaret Martin and his son Eric Lynn Martin. Ken was blessed with six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Ken was a truck driver for Roadway Express for 28 years. He logged over two million miles in a tractor trailer without ever having an accident. To his friends over the road, he was known by his CB radio call sign, "Daffy Duck" - or "Duck" to those who knew him best. After retiring from Roadway, Ken loved his work as an assistant teacher with special needs young people at Wren High School.

Ken's faith in Christ was very precious to him. His life was a testament to the mercy and grace of God. Sharing the love of God, teaching the Bible and mentoring others were some of his greatest joys in life.

Ken loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed people. He made those around him feel loved and appreciated. Those who knew him will remember his big smile, his bright eyes, and his warm laugh.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 1st at 3:00pm in the chapel at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45pm.
