Kenneth Winslow (Ken) Pilgrim passed away at the age of 68 on Thursday, May 4th at Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was a son of the late Winslow Harvey Pilgrim and Frances Snipes Pilgrim. He was a Vietnam Era U.S. Army veteran and served his country with distinction. He was born on November 29, 1954, in Greenville, SC, and had 6 siblings; 4 sisters and 2 brothers.


Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters Carolyn Anderson, Linda Lewis; brother Rodger Pilgrim and step-daughters Emily Holcombe and Dawn Crymes.


He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patsy Pilgrim, sons Jamie Pilgrim (Jennifer) and Joshua Pilgrim (Tiffany), step-daughter Missy McLucas, two sisters; Shirley Veal (Richard), Annette Baurnes (Ron) and one brother, Billy Wayne Pilgrim (Debbie), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and lifelong friends. Ken loved fishing, camping and was an accomplished cook who loved participating in his church’s annual Community Thanksgiving Meal. 


Ken’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service, 11:00 AM, Monday, May 8, 2023 at Six Mile Baptist Church located at 149 North Main Street, Six Mile. Prior to the memorial service, the family will have an informal gathering of friends between 10:00 AM and 10:45 AM.
