Kenneth Earl Swafford, 73, of Piedmont, husband of the late Janice Marie Lee Swafford, passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 at McCall Hospice House.
Born March 19, 1937, in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Styles and Minnie Stephens Swafford. Mr. Swafford was a US Marine Veteran, and was a retired truck driver with US Food Service.
Surviving are his son, Troy Swafford and wife, Vickie; daughters, Marie Swafford, Monica Swafford, and Michelle Lee Swafford; brothers, Horace Swafford, Harold Swafford and wife, Dorcas, and Doug Swafford and wife, Mary; 3 grandchildren, Cody Barrett,Jessica Zucchi, Ashley Zucchi; and a great-grandchild, Zane Stancil.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 21, 2011 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680.
