Kenneth Franklin Woody, 83, of Easley passed away Monday, March 18, 2019.
Born in Marion, NC, he was a son of the late Virgil Lafeyette and Maphra Irene Woody. Mr. Woody was a die hard fan of the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed fishing. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Airforce.
He is survived by two sons, James Kevin Woody (Pamela) of Easley, and Joseph Donald Woody (Debra) of Arden, NC; one brother, Richard Woody (Wanda) of Easley; five grandchildren, Heather Woody, Tyler Woody, Kelsey Woody, Erica Redd, and Richard Austell III; five great-grandchildren, Julian, Elizabeth, Paxton, Ryleigh, and Ari; three nieces, Misty Woody, Kayla Woody, and Lynn Harbin; and one nephew, Steve Proctor.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his two sisters, Wanda Hyman, and Katie Dodgens.
The family will host a private memorial service.
