Kevin Wayne Morris, 38, of 105 New Haven Court, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Xenia, Ohio, Mr. Morris was a son of Wayne and Jennifer Jones Morris of Appalachia, Virginia. He graduated from Appalachia High School and Virginia Tech with a degree in architecture. As an architect for Design South Professionals in Anderson, Mr. Morris did design projects, which included the Anderson County Council Chambers and the Hospice House of the Upstate. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Morris was a member of the Easley Rotary Club and the American Institute of Architects. He was an avid guitar player, a motorcycle enthusiast and founding member of Morris Moto.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Katrina Cooper Morris, and his daughter, Hailey Jordan Morris, both of the home; and a brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Tammy Morris, of Kingsport, Tennessee.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
The family is at the residence, 105 New Haven Court; Easley, SC 29640 where they will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hailey Jordan Morris, c/o Wachovia Bank, Easley (864) 859-3838.
