Kim Denise Mathis

Kim Denise Mathis, of Pickens, South Carolina entered peacefully into her eternal home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the age of 63. She was born in Greenville and was of the Baptist faith. 

Kim will be remembered for always being late but brightening up the room with her contagious smile. Kim was a very caring lady that loved everyone and was loved by all who met her. She also served her country with honor in the United States Army. She also loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish Kim’s many memories are, her mother, Joyce Dudley Henderson; a sister, Elaine Whitman (Fred); her niece, Jamie Page (Jesse), and also a nephew, Tyler Whitman (Summer). Also, eight great nieces and nephews survive. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Mathis; and her father, Charles Henderson; her brother, Matthew Henderson.

A celebration of life service to honor Kim’s life will be held at a later date.
