Krystal Burdette, Central, SC
Krystal Marie Burdette of Central, passed away at her home in Central, SC following a sudden illness.
Krystal was born in Anderson, SC, the beloved daughter of Vickie Hendrix Burdette of Central and the late Kirk Burdette. She was known for her selflessness and generosity, always giving freely without expecting anything in return. Krystal found solace in her faith as a member of the LaFrance Church of God of Prophecy. Her passions included crafting, farming, and fishing. Above all else, she had a deep love for children and animals.
Surviving Krystal is her devoted boyfriend of 10 years, Jacob Metz of the home; her loving daughter, Linsie Ladell Wood of Anderson; her son, James Edward Swaney of Anderson; her brother, Bobby Burdette and his wife, Elizabeth of Central; her sister, Amanda "Mandy" Harrell and husband, Larry of Anderson; her mother's steadfast partner and Krystal's "Bonus Dad", Jimmy Head of Central; her bonus sister and brother, Kimberly Head and Jeffrey Head; 5 nieces and 3 nephews who she absolutely adored; 5 great nieces and nephews; her faithful furry friend, Zena; and her favorite cow in the pasture, Maybell.
In addition to her father, Krystal was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Ruth Hendrix.
A Celebration of Krystal's Life will be held on Sunday, January 7th, 2024 at 3:30 PM in the Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
The family will gather at the Central Fire Station #2, immediately following the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to honor Krystal's passion for children and animals by donating to your favorite charity dedicated to their well-being.
