Lawrence "Truman" Fisher, 67, of Greenville, died Friday, July 27, 2012 at Omega Living and Rehab in Greenville.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late John and Della Reid Fisher. He was a TV repair man and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, J. Travis Fisher of Six Mile; 4 daughters, Lisa (Bryan) Harrell of Easley, Karen (Danny) Ellenburg of Pickens, Donna (Shawn) Fisher and Jennifer (Dale Sutherland) Howard all of Six Mile; a son and daughter from a previous marriage, Terry Fisher and Teresa F. Thompson both of Rosman, NC; a sister, Joyce (Jack) Roper of Pickens; 17 grandchildren, Brittany Dill, Ashley McCrary, Amber McCrary, Zachary Dill, Brandon Dill, Andrew Johnson, Izabella Fisher, Jacob Bearden, Matthew Harrell, Tiffany Harrell, Casside Howard, Shawna Cowart, Logan Howard, Riley Sutherland, Jacob Fisher and Autumn Thompson.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 5 brothers, Harold, David, Charlie, Hansel and Ansel Fisher; 4 sisters, Leona Woods, Carol Cassell, Lib Morgan and Blanche Fisher; and a grandson, Nicholas Fisher.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Oconee County.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC 29630 for funeral expenses of Mr. L. Truman Fisher.
