Lana Rae Rhodes, 48, of 217 Arrowhead Trail and wife of Wendall L. Rhodes, passed away Friday June 13, 2014 at her home.
Mrs Rhodes was born in Washington, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Elton Ray and Judith Sampson Carr, of Taylorstown, Pennsylvania.
She was a graduate of Chamberlain University with a B.S. Degree in Nursing. She served in the Emergency Department at Greenville Memorial Medical Center and also at the office of Dr. Robert Rogers. She served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard and was a member of Set Free Christian Fellowship.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are sons, Scott Sexton, Jr., of Piedmont, SC and Sidney Rhodes, of Easley, SC; a daughter, Nicole Rhodes, of Easley, SC; sisters, Melissa Carr, of Claysville, PA, Michelle Johnson, of Diamondhead, MS, Julie Minch, of West Alexander, PA and Janice Carr, of Washington, PA; and one grandchild, Jaedynn Sexton.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Bedillion.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Set Free Christian Fellowship. Burial with military honors will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm Monday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family is at the residence.
