Mr. Billy Larry Adams, 71, husband of Linda Owens Adams, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Larry was born in Greenville County on June 19, 1944 to the late John C. and Claudia Riddley Adams. Larry was a very kind and compassionate person, putting others needs before his own. He loved to sing gospel music, and loved Clemson Tigers Football. He retired from the Greenville County Sheriff Department and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to his loving wife, Larry is survived by a son; Jeffery Scott Adams (Karen) of Easley; a brother, James Adams (Sharyn) of Greenville; a sister, Joyce Eastburn of Greenville; and three grandchildren, Kayla Nicole Adams Manley (George Stephen), Corey Scott Adams and Carsyn Leigh Adams.
A private graveside service will be held.
The family is in seclusion.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Concerned Citizens for Animals, 3627 Fork Shoals Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
