Larry E. Brownlow, 74, of Easley, husband of Katie Chupp Brownlow, passed away Sunday morning, October 26, 2014 at his home.
Born September 21, 1940 in Walhalla, he was a son of Mary Elizabeth Todd Brownlow and the late Nathan E. Brownlow. Mr. Brownlow was a retired food broker and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother and wife of twenty-three years, he is survived by his son, Ryan Brownlow (Nicole); step-children, Vernon Schwartz (Jennifer), Alan Swartzentruber (Kelli), Beverly Kelly (Thomas) and Crystal Temples (Randall); brother, Rodney Brownlow; grandchildren, Christian, Aiden and Adalyn; and eleven step-grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Kathy Brownlow.
Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Rock Springs Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 3:45 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
Honorary escorts will be the Anchor Class of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 West Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680.
