Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Pelham and Betty Mae Collins Gambrell.
He is survived by one son, Anthony; two daughters, Monica and Shannon all of Easley; brother, Jerry Gambrell of Central; sister, Nellie Carr of Liberty; and 2 grandchildren.
The family will conduct a graveside committal service at 11 AM, Saturday in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central, SC.
