Larry Joe Garrett, 72, of 226 Butler Road, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012.
Born in Anderson County, a son of the late Walter Harrison and Eunice Marchbanks Garrett, Mr. Garrett retired from Duke Power Company and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Surviving are his loving wife, Doris Garrett; one special son, Ronald "Runt" Garrett, three other sons, one step-son, two step-daughters, two granddaughters, four grandsons, one brother, one sister, and a special cousin, Jerry Gardo.
Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
