Mr. Larry Ronald "Ronnie" Jameson, 65, husband of Barbara B. Jameson, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Regency Hospital of Greenville after a courageous seven month battle with cancer.
Born in Greenville County on January 25, 1947, a son of the late B.L. and Vivian Banks Jameson, Mr. Jameson was a retired operations manager in Horticulture and a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church. He was a US Navy Veteran.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of forty-five years, are a daughter, Daronda J. Patterson (Eric) of Easley; a sister-in-law, Sue Tinsley (Chuck) of Easley; three granddaughters, Starr Crawford (Chris) and Lacey and Sabrena Nicholson; the light of his life, a grandson, Tiergan Jameson Gregory; two nieces, Jennifer Chastain (Michael) and Amanda Issacs (Brent); and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with Rev. Wayne Garmon officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
