Larry Christopher Lesley, known to many as Chris, passed away on June 16th, 2023. He was born on December 18th, 1970, in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Mary Lillian Perry Lesley and Larry Nathan Lesley. Chris was a beloved member of the community who spent much of his life working as a carpenter and for O’Reilly’s Auto Parts of Berea.

Chris was a hardworking and talented carpenter who took great pride in his work. In addition to his love of carpentry, Chris had many hobbies and interests that he enjoyed throughout his life. He was an avid deer hunter who spent countless hours tracking game in the woods with his friends. He also loved NASCAR racing and followed the sport religiously. Chris had a deep appreciation for rock bands and could often be found listening to music at home.

Chris will be deeply missed by his surviving family and friends, including his sister, Tammy Burgess; special nieces, Jayden Burgess, Keeva Tamariz, and Whitney Claride; a nephew, Charles A. “Tony” Burgess; eleven great nieces, a half-sister, Donna Sue Parsons; aunts and uncles, Nicky Lesley and Donnie Lesley (Judy), Joan O’Neal, Brenda Cody (Leroy), and Robert Perry; several cousins and friends; and his faithful furry companion, Daisy May. His passing has left a void in their lives that cannot be filled. However, they are grateful for the time they were able to spend with him and the memories they shared together.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 30, 2023, from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with a service following at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Antioch United Methodist Church in Easley.
