Larry Allen Rackley, 65, 123 Lufkin Drive, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Walter D. and Annie Finley Rackley, he was a retired supervisor with the US Postal Service, Greenville, a US Air Force Veteran of Vietnam and was of the Baptist faith. He received an Associates degree in Marketing from Greenville Technical College.
Surviving are his wife, Viola Miller Rackley of the home; one son, Steve Rackley and wife, Nancy of Shelby, NC; two daughters, Lisa Finley and husband, Chris of Taylors, SC and Gina Stephens and husband, Kevin of Spartanburg; one brother, Palmer Rackley of Easley; four sisters, Mary Gambrell of Easley, Faye Spearman, Libby Howell and Cynthia Taylor all of Greenville; and two grandsons, Connor and Dylan Rackley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Rackley; and a sister, Carolyn Steele.
Funeral services will be held 4:30 PM, Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with burial to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4:30 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
